The best staff!!

We’ve just stayed two nights on Barefoot Manta and really enjoyed everything about our stay, it’s a beautiful resort, the food is so tasty and there’s so much choice too. The staff were amazing, and couldn’t be more helpful, I didn’t get many of their names but Saki and Ann were always chatty and made sure we were having a good day. We snorkelled off sunrise beach both days and the reef is probably one of the best I’ve seen, we saw lots of fish and a reef shark. There’s lots to do throughout the day if you want like a village trip, sunrise or sunset hike and Fijian dancing/singing, or you can just chill on the beach. Thanks so much to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable!!

Best snorkelling ever!
Casual and friendly resort. Waterfront bures very cool- intimate with amazing views and loved the outdoor shower. The best thing about this resort was by far the snorkelling and the amazing work they are doing on reef restoration-recommend marine bio tour and snorkelling with mantas. This was by the far best “walk in” snorkelling I have ever seen at a resort!!! Coral so thick you can’t even see any rocks- many different fish species, purple starfish, lobster, rays, etc- amazing! Morning hike also nice with amazing views.

Vinaka vaka levu to all the staff at Barefoot Manta.

Far exceeded all expectations. Paradise personified,
Hard to put into words just how perfect this place is. We enjoyed 6 blissful nights in a beachfront Bure. On arrival we were escorted to our beautiful accommodation; so nicely appointed with a lovely open-air private bathroom. The beach was even visible from the bedroom.

There is no doubt though that the atmosphere of this place is made extra special by the absolutely delightful staff who go out of their way to look after their guests. The food, the service, the evening events were all so wonderfully presented. We so very quickly felt part of the Barefoot family; it was a real challenge to leave this paradise island. Thank you so much for everything; we will be back.

Close to Paradise

One of our most amazing holidays EVER. From the moment the boat pulled up on the white sand (when the staff line up on the shore to sing a welcome song) to the tearful goodbyes (and more singing), we felt thoroughly welcomed and looked after. The island is breathtakingly beautiful, surpassed only by the unspoilt coral reefs under the turquoise ocean.

Yes, we saw mantas (lots of them!), but even without the manta sightings this would have been an amazing trip. No shops, no cars, no interruptions to the peace and quiet (but lots of wonderful Fijian music to help you chill). The food was lovely, healthy and varied. We went on a few good dives but mainly snorkelled as the reefs close to the shore are quite shallow. Several families with young kids were there, they seemed to be having a good time too. The only thing I missed was a decent expresso coffee (but the free filter coffee on tap was OK).
